Resumen

Robert Half Technology is looking for a Cybersecurity Expert (m/f/x) for one of its clients located in the Liège area.

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Lead (m/f/x) to play a central role in strengthening cybersecurity practices across multiple European entities. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement, contributing both to operational security and long-term cybersecurity initiatives

As Cybersecurity Expert (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:

  • Drive the deployment and continuous improvement of cybersecurity policies, standards and controls across European sites.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate cyber risks through regular risk assessments, vulnerability analyses and security audits.
  • Lead and coordinate incident response activities (investigation, containment, communication and remediation).
  • Collaborate closely with Global Security Operations and internal IT, Infrastructure and Operations teams.
  • Contribute to major cybersecurity and regulatory initiatives, including NIS2.
  • Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices among local teams.
  • Monitor and report on cybersecurity KPIs, incidents and compliance indicators.
  • Manage security-related vendors and external service providers.
  • Support the protection of industrial and OT environments in line with recognized standards (e.g. IEC 62443).

The required profile for the Cybersecurity Expert (m/f/x) position:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, ideally in industrial or operational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, NIS2).
  • Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection and vulnerability management solutions.
  • Solid background in Windows and Unix/Linux environments.
  • Experience with incident response, vulnerability remediation, patching and IDS/IPS.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Professional proficiency in English; French is a plus.
