Resumen

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for an Accounting Manager (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Brussels.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the consultancy sector.

As Accounting Manager (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:

  • Perform all the periodic closing activities/reporting linked to the Accounting from A to Z: make the necessary journal entrees, salary posting and reconciliation, balance sheet accounts reconciliations, perform ICO matching etc..;
  • Provide leadership, coaching and development to the junior accountant and reviewing the work done (junior is doing most of the transactional work);
  • Prepare Cash Flow Forecasts and make variance analysis;
  • Review and execute payments;
  • Does all the Belgian Governmental declarations linked to the accounting ( like VAT, Intrastat, Annual accounts...);
  • Has experience working with an analytical accounting and within a Chart of Account different than the Belgian Gaap one;
  • Brings the necessary practical experience on BE GAAP and fiscal matters (Vat, Corporate Tax mainly);
  • Being the SPOC for the auditors and doing the coordination and follow up of open items with finance colleagues;
  • Implement process and system optimisations (incl digitalisation);
  • Take on other reasonable duties as agreed with the manager.

The required profile for the Accounting Manager (m/f/x) position:

  • Having a Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience;
  • Languages (both written and oral): Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of Dutch (French is an asset);
  • Good practical knowledge of Excel;
  • Experience with process/system improvements and having the necessary mindset;
  • Experience with working in an ERP environment (Unit 4 is a plus);
  • Personality:
    • Quick learned;
    • Can work autonomously;
    • Accurate;
    • Open and transparent communication;
    • Team player and eager to learn.
