Summary
The Supply Chain Manager will take care of an efficient operational implementation of the group logistics & warehouse strategy for the Benelux region. You report to the Finance Director.
Client Details
Our client, based in Antwerp, is a manufacturer and distributor (via direct sales) of consumer goods to their clients (B2C).
Description
The Supply Chain Manager will:
- Roll out the action plan for the logistics department in order to ensure customer satisfaction, in close collaboration with the 3PL partner
- Optimize inventories and cost of storage for the goods
- Monitor the impact of customer promotional operations (done by marketing) and anticipate the variation on the stocks
- Analyse the gaps between sales estimations and real sales
- Ensure an efficient planning
- Manage the stock flows of the products and sales materials (e.g. commercial documents, books, etc.)
- Propose improvements in procedures, ensure continuous process efficiency and implement new working methods coming from the group
- Guarantee the respect of all procedures and apply controls
- Monitor KPIs and cost optimization
- Purchase diverse and complex goods and services in order to meet the needs of the organization
- Register all the purchasing operations following established processes
- Source and propose providers for new demands from the organization
- Follow up with providers to ensure payments by providing the purchasing number
Profile
The Supply Chain Manager we are looking for has/is (the):
- A first experience in end to end supply chain with working with a 3PL
- Good expertise related to logistics and warehouse services
- Strong knowledge of English and Dutch
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Capacity to motivate and influence external stakeholders
- Ability to work at the Antwerp office for 3 days per week on average
Job Offer
The Supply Chain Manager can expect (a):
- Solid monthly salary
- Net allowance of 250 euros per month
- Bonus equal to one extra month salary, based on targets
