Job Description
The Purchasing & Planning Officer organizes production according to demand and quality standards. He/she ensures the products are produced on time in a profitable manner. He/she is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. He/she is organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are very useful for the role. The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Prepares the ROY in collaboration with Assembly Manager and submit to management.
  • Keeps the Scheduled delivery planning continuously up-to-date and communicate in regular basis to Customer Services.
  • Manage MRP and Adjust MRP requirement Assembly line and Gears: including WO creation, modification, follow-up, reworks, 6 months old orders…
  • Plans and coordinates production priorities for Assembly Line (ID cards…).
  • Work closely with Production Manager and Team leaders to follow work orders and coordinate internal capacity
  • Manage raw material supplies for machining shops, have regular contacts with suppliers' raw materials, place the orders in accordance with policy defined by Procurement Manager.
  • Performs weekly detailed inventory analysis to determine production needs for Units, Kits and spare parts.
  • Interfaces and communicates with functions such as production, customer services, purchasing, Quality Control, warehouse, Technical Department…
  • KPI reporting on Daily, weekly, and Monthly performances.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as production planner
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
  • Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning).
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Good at math and statistics.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Fluent in French & English.
