Description of the Job Offer
Ensure that all tasks in the Warehouse are delivered in accordance with Company Policies, Procedures and Quality Levels.
Our partner is a worldwide provider of biological and in vitro products to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and contract research organisations.
o To follow the instructions and operating procedures of the Warehouse
o Ensure that all labelling and product information sent to customers are accurate, up to date and communicated thoroughly.
o Maintain files for all stock
o Assist the L&O Manager to ensure stock is accurately recorded, regularly checked and pro-actively managed to keep it at the most efficient level and ensuring that stock nearing the end of its shelf life is flagged up to the Warehouse Team Leader for action.
o Actively assist the Quality Assurance Team to report, record, investigate and take corrective action to ensure that the Company's policies and procedures are implemented and evolved with changing needs
o Maintain & analyse all documentation effectively and efficiently.
o Assist the Warehouse Team Leader to maintain the Business Development Team's Marketing Materials and Trade Stands and arrange for delivery to and collection from customers and venues as required through the booking system
o To assist the L&O Manager manage and monitor all emergency procedures and alarms for the Facility (i.e. Security, Fire and Temperature Controlled Storage)
o Assist the L&O Manager to manage and specifically analyse Health and Safety risks within the Warehouse and ensure that all legal responsibilities, company policies and procedures are implemented
o Assist the L&O Manager to manage the Facilities Management Function on site
o To help the Warehouse Team Leader with keeping an up-to-date inventory of consumables
Education and Qualifications
o Completed Secondary Education, A-Level Education preferable
o Good skills in Microsoft Office
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
o Working experience gained in Warehouse preferably in Medical or Bio-Science Sectors
o Possess experience working with Warehouse and Goods In/Out systems
o Ability to work in a front line, high pressure, reactive environment
o Good level of spoken/written English and mental/practical arithmetic
o Proven ability to maintain accurate records and files
o IT proficient
o Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues, management and suppliers.
