Description

  • Oversee the actuarial department, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Develop and implement effective actuarial strategies.
  • Provide expert guidance on actuarial models and risk management.
  • Produce and review periodic assessments and reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial stability.
  • Monitor and forecast future trends and risks.
  • Compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Report on actuarial operations to senior management.

Profile

A successful Head of Actuary should have:

  • A degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the insurance industry (preferably as Head of).
  • Strong understanding of quantitative risk models
  • Proficiency in data analysis and predictive modelling.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data.
  • Fluent in Dutch (passive French is a plus).

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary range of 80,000 to 110,000 EUR per annum.
